Subliminal : Part I

Subliminal : Part I

-Askina Thapa-

A subliminal message is an audio or visual stimulus that’s not perceived by your conscious mind. They’re often put into songs, films, or adverts, as they can be used to enhance the persuasiveness of something – or convey something else entirely. Subliminal messages are below the threshold of conscious perception.

In dark corners of the night
floating from the sky
subliminal dreams come alight
and descend from far up high.

Tapestries woven intricately
colors reflective of my moods
exquisite in its delicacy
the notions it includes.

Messages to the intuition
belief in what I feel
heaven-sent transmission
too vibrant to conceal.

Telepathic thinking
sown on fallow ground
metaphysics linking
relayed without a sound.

Subliminal sensations
subconscious sympathies
mind moving vibrations
transcendental symphonies.

Moving in the mind
new nuances and feelings
some too hard to find
concealed beneath the peelings.

Subliminal transitions
holistic and complete
given the conditions
stay totally replete.

With a shake, I awake,
to greet a brand-new day
gather my dreams together
in a subliminal way.

There’s no scientific evidence to support the theory that subliminal messages are dangerous or harmful to your mind. Although whatever information you repeatedly listen to will influence your thinking. Therefore, if you were to listen to the wrong types of subliminal messages, they could negatively impact your mindset.
