DO YOU IMAGINE?

-Askina Thapa-

The act or power of forming a mental image of something not present to the senses or never before wholly perceived in reality.
It allows you to explore the past and to imagine the future. It plays an important role in our mental health, and thanks to imagination, we can give a positive approach to our experiences. It is a great tool for recreating and remodeling your world, your life. Imagination has much to do with reality. It shapes the way we see our reality and therefore, affects our expectations and hopes, our actions and behavior. Imagine good things, and this will affect your actions and behavior, which consequently, would create in your life what you imagined in your mind. Strength Of Imagination Not Associated With Creative Ability Or Achievement. Imagination is sometimes claimed to be a uniquely human ability, and it has long intrigued psychologists. Imagination is the part of the brain that figures out something that hasn’t existed before. It is an essential survival and creativity mechanism .

“So Don’t Edit Your Imagination”

As children, we have vivid imaginations. We stay up late waiting for Santa Claus, dream of becoming President, and have ideas that defy physics. Then something happens. As we grow older, we start editing our imagination. For me, it happened gradually. At the time, I thought it was just part of becoming an adult. I stopped imagining things if I couldn’t imagine how to create them. It’s like there was an internal editor in my head fact-checking the possibilities out of my world. But someone said something I will never forget. She said,“If you can imagine it, you can create it.”Think of the imagination as a giant stone from which we carve out new ideas. As we chip away, our new ideas become more polished and refined. But if you start by editing your imagination, you start with a tiny stone. I think this is why many companies are founded by first-time entrepreneurs, if they had known better, they may never have started their company. Editing is important since it provides the logic to make our imagination real. But as Albert Einstein once said, Imagination is the part of the brain that figures out something that hasn’t existed before. It is an essential survival and creativity mechanism.

The ability to imagine things pervades our entire existence. It influences everything we do, think about and  create. If you imagine , you will create it so don’t edit your imagination keep on going keep shinning.
