Kathmandu, Oct 4 : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has described his visit to the UNGA in New York, USA and to Costa Rica as highly fruitful and successful in promoting the interest of Nepal.
Talking to journalists upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport after attending the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly today, Prime Minister Oli said Nepal was able to draw the attention of the world towards the problems facing the least developed and landlocked countries, while strongly raising the need for additional support to such countries.
“During the UNGA, I also shared about the developments in Nepal including the end to political crisis, management of conflict and conclusion of the peace process, independent foreign policy and increased access to world forum, and the goal of economic prosperity and good governance policy adopted by the country,” he said.
